- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a saucepan, bring the apple cider to a boil and reduce to a simmer until it’s reduced to 1/2 cup.
- In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sugars, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Add the reduced apple cider to the wet ingredients and mix well.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fill the donut pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool before removing from the pan.
