Bananas Foster Cheesecake – Creamy, Caramelized & Decadently Irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup dark rum
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, then let it cool.
  6. In a skillet, combine sliced bananas, brown sugar, rum, and lemon juice over medium heat until caramelized.
  7. Pour the banana mixture over the cooled cheesecake.
  8. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then spread over the bananas.
  9. Chill the cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of cinnamon to the banana mixture.
  • Serve with whipped cream and caramel sauce.
