Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry – Easy Takeout Style at Home

A quick and easy Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry recipe that brings the taste of takeout to your home.

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add remaining oil and broccoli. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until just tender.
  5. Add beef back to the pan, along with water. Stir-fry everything together for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sesame oil or chili flakes.
  • Customize with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
