Beef-Stuffed Shells with Creamy Ricotta

  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cooked beef with ricotta, half of the mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
  6. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish and arrange the stuffed shells over it.
  7. Top the shells with remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
