- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1/2 pound turkey bacon
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot until crispy. Remove and set aside, but keep the drippings.
