  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. Add diced onion, garlic, ginger, and all spices to the slow cooker.
  3. Mix in the tomato puree and salt.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream.
  6. Adjust salt and stir in lime juice before serving.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
