  • 200 grams tteokbokki rice cakes
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 500 ml water
  • 150 grams mozzarella cheese
  • 2 green onions (sliced)

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine water, gochujang, and sugar, and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the tteokbokki rice cakes and cook for 10 minutes until they soften.
  3. Stir in the mozzarella cheese and let it melt.
  4. Add green onions and mix well before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
  • Pair with a side of pickled radish for a traditional touch.
