  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and cook until it’s browned and has a nutty aroma.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For chewier cookies, don’t overbake them.
