  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup flour

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onions, garlic, carrots, and potatoes until tender.
  3. Add diced chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Slowly whisk in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  7. Simmer for 15 minutes until thickened.
  8. Top with crispy turkey bacon before serving.
