  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar, then add egg and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Spoon half of the batter into the cupcake liners, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, then top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. For frosting, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Frost cooled cupcakes.
