  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  6. To assemble, fill each muffin liner halfway with batter, add a layer of the brown sugar mixture, then top with more batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before drizzling with a simple icing made from powdered sugar and milk.
