Coconut Panna Cotta with Passion Fruit

A delicious and creamy dessert that combines tropical coconut with tart passion fruit.

  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup passion fruit pulp

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, heavy cream, and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  3. Add bloomed gelatin to the coconut mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the mixture into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Before serving, top with passion fruit pulp.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, strain the mixture before pouring into ramekins.
  • Adjust sweetness to your liking by adding more or less sugar.
