  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cooking until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing to a simmer before adding the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Mix well until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
  7. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, consider adding red pepper flakes.
  • Fresh parsley can also be used as a garnish for added flavor.
