Creamy & Cheesy Au Gratin Potatoes

A deliciously creamy and cheesy dish made with layers of potatoes, turkey bacon, and chicken ham, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle half of the cheese, turkey bacon, and chicken ham on top.
  7. Add the remaining potatoes, followed by the rest of the cream mixture.
  8. Top with the remaining cheese, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add herbs like thyme or rosemary.
  • For a lighter version, reduce the amount of cream and cheese.
