  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onions and cook until translucent.
  3. Add diced potatoes, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Use a potato masher to mash the potatoes slightly, then stir in the heavy cream and cheddar cheese.
