  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef chuck roast on all sides until browned.
  2. Transfer the roast to the crockpot and add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and sliced onion.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  4. Shred the beef with two forks and serve on hoagie rolls topped with provolone cheese.
