Easy Healthy Broccoli Pasta

A quick and nutritious meal featuring broccoli and turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and chop.
  3. Add the broccoli to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for another minute.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta and turkey bacon, adding olive oil and seasonings to taste. Stir well.
  6. Serve hot, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
