  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Stir in carrots, celery, and peas, cooking until tender.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir well, cooking for another minute.
