Greek Chicken Marinade – Flavorful, Tender Chicken with Mediterranean Flair

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a zip-top bag and pour marinade over them.
  3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  6. Let chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  • Marinating overnight enhances flavor.
  • Great served with a salad or in pita bread.
