  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.

  5. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, ground beef, mozzarella cheese, and marinara sauce in the dish. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with noodles and marinara sauce on top.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top layer.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with sautéed vegetables.
  • Allow the lasagna to cool completely before refrigerating to prevent sogginess.
