Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure mint extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon green food coloring
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the mint extract and green food coloring, and mix until combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. During the last few minutes of churning, add the chocolate chips.
  5. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, increase the amount of mint extract to taste.
