  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add oil, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk; mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in crushed Oreo cookies.
  5. Divide batter into cupcake liners and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool before frosting.
  7. For frosting, beat together softened butter and powdered sugar, adding milk and vanilla until desired consistency is reached.
  8. Frost cooled cupcakes and garnish with additional Oreo pieces.
