4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk, warmed
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 large eggs
1 cup raspberry preserves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Mix in warm milk and softened butter until blended.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 10 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours.
Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface.
Spread raspberry preserves over the dough and roll it up tightly.
Place the rolled dough into a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30 to 45 minutes.
