  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 32 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs (for cheesecake)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix with water, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Finally, stir in the sour cream and mix until smooth.
