  • 50 grams dried rose petals

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine bread flour and water. Mix until no dry flour remains.
  2. Add sourdough starter and salt, then knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Gently incorporate the dried rose petals into the dough.
  4. Cover and let the dough rise for 4-6 hours or until doubled in size.
  5. Shape the dough and place it in a floured proofing basket. Cover and let it rise again for 2-3 hours.
  6. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
  7. Once preheated, carefully place the dough into the Dutch oven, cover it, and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool before slicing.
