Sourdough Pesto Grilled Cheese

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons pesto
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Spread pesto on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  2. Place a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of the pesto on one slice.
  3. Top with the other slice of bread, pesto side down.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  5. Once melted, place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Flip and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
