  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and 3 cups of cheddar cheese; stir until smooth.
  6. Combine the macaroni with the cheese sauce and turkey bacon in a baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
